the trek to base camp

Today marks the first day of starting this blog, I wanted to start on remembrance day which was on the 11th but the fucking website took me a whole week to actually make (this is the 5th iteration). Well I guess let’s get started, I posted a shabby picture for this day as I think it resembles my day-to-day quite perfectly – pretty anti-climactic. I guess that’s how today feels as well, I thought it would be more exciting starting my own blog but I think because it took me so long to actually make the site the excitement wore off. Well enough of that, Well enough complaining and onto the actual post.

I labelled this as the trek to base camp as I feel like I haven’t even built my foundation yet. I think I still have a long way to go before I even attempt to climb this mountain. This blog will help me on my journey as I am going to reflect on my day every single day or at least I hope so, with my goal being every day I have improved from the previous day. What I mean by building my foundation is that I wish to have developed certain habits before I chuck myself into the deep end of self-improvement. The habits I intend to build by the base camp:

  1. Have a set sleep and waking up schedule
  2. Having a consistent routine of going to the gym
  3. Getting into the habit of always having a new skill I am learning

I guess those three are good launchpads to get started on, in this blog I will keep you up with my day-to-day, give a story time here or there and tell you more about how I am feeling. I guess the moral of the story is that I have no fucking clue where this is going to go and that seems kind of exciting to me, so without further ado lets start this fucking journey.
